Floral Friends of Frampton

We are a group of volunteers who came together in summer 2014 with the aim of improving Frampton Cotterell by planting bulbs and flowers to:

  • make the area more beautiful

  • attract more wildlife

  • involve the wider community in working on a local project together.

Since forming we have:

  • planted bulbs at various places in the village,

  • created wildflower gardens in public spaces,

  • established public gardensand flower displays around the village,

  • built and installed flower planters at strategic places, and

  • erected hanging baskets on prominent local buildings.

Our funding comes from grants, donations and our own fund raising activities. We have also received generous gifts from local businesses and residents who have been wholly supportive of our efforts.

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers to our group. Anyone wishing to join the group can contact us via email or via our Facebook page.

Local school children were asked to design a logo for our group. The winning entry (above) was used as the basis for our logo.
